A unit of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, K. V. Utarlai was introduced in the vicinity of desert city BARMER in 1982 to serve the needs of society, specially defence, since its inception. Due to its unique contribution in the field of education the vidyalaya was given the status of ‘Model School’ by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in the year 1999.
It shifted to present much bigger building and since then it is running successfully from class 1st to 12th & producing effective results.
